A connection recently asked for a summary of our 3PL services. Pasting the substance of our reply here seems like a good idea, because it’s always a good time to restate what we do:
Our 3PL service has 4 primary parts:
– FBA Prep
– Business Connections/Partnerships
If someone is selling a physical product in the US, we store their product and connect with their sales platform(s) or channel(s) to process orders for that product and provide shipping (tracking) information back to the sales platform(s)/channel(s).
This service allows growing product based businesses to scale, and also provides an excellent way for international businesses to access the US market. Our location in the Midwest is also well placed to allow great shipping coverage through most of the US from a single centralized location.
It does not matter whether the sales are B2B or D2C. We can handle both. We are also very flexible on, and willing to help with things like specialized packaging or kitting (though we do not deal with items that require refrigeration).
Businesses who sell items via Amazon’s FBA service often need help prepping their products to meet Amazon’s exacting standards for acceptance into their FBA facilities. That preparation can range from simple storage and forwarding to labeling, and can even include kitting and repackaging. We provide those services.
We have an AI based tool named Mission IMS. It is an inventory management tool that helps with a number of inventory related pain points that are common to product based companies. It helps with demand forecasting, timing (and creating) replenishment purchase orders effectively, managing returns, and even providing inventory financing. The bottom line is that this product improves a company’s bottom line by enabling them to optimize their inventory management.
Business Connections/Partnerships:
This is not anything that we charge for, but it is something that we feel strongly about in our business relationships. We are constantly working to develop partnerships that are ancillary to the 3PL world so that we can be in a position to help our clients with whatever they might need to achieve success.
For example: If they need freight forwarding help, we have an outstanding connection who is an expert in managing international freight. If they need help with marketing their product in the US, we have connections who have strong track records with helping ecommerce bands grow. If they need help with managing their finances and optimizing their financial decisions, we have those contacts as well. If they want to centralize their operations into an ERP system – well that’s our sister company. : )
All of these connections have two things in common:
1.) They are service oriented. They thrive on understanding and meeting clients where they are.
2.) They have global perspective and global experience.
